PublicPro platform usage terms.

Welcome to PublicPro, a marketplace and discovery platform operated by ALFASTAR INDIA FINANCE CONSULTANCY PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company”, “PublicPro”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the PublicPro website, mobile applications, digital platforms and related services (“Platform”). By accessing, registering on, listing on, or using PublicPro, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About PublicPro
PublicPro is an online marketplace and discovery platform designed to help users across India:
A. Find Workers / Service Providers
Users may discover and connect with independent professionals, technicians, workers and other service providers.
Service categories may include, among others:
AC installation and repair
Plumbing
Electrical services
Carpentry
Painting
Tile and marble work
Masonry
Appliance repair
Cleaning
RO/water purifier services
Home maintenance
Construction-related services
Other professional, technical and skilled services
B. Find Shops / Businesses
PublicPro may enable users to search for and discover shops, merchants, businesses and other commercial establishments based on category, location and other available criteria.
Shop/business listings may contain information such as:
Business/shop name
Business category
Location
Contact information
Business description
Products or services offered
Working hours
Photographs
Pricing or other commercial information
Ratings and reviews
C. Find Property
PublicPro may provide a property discovery and listing facility through which users can search for properties listed for sale, rent, lease or other permitted purposes.
Property listings may include:
Residential property
Commercial property
Land/plots
Shops/offices
Houses/flats
Other permitted property categories
Listings may be submitted by property owners, authorized representatives, agents, brokers or other permitted listers.
PublicPro may add, modify, suspend or discontinue marketplace categories and Platform features from time to time.
2. Marketplace and Platform Role
Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, PublicPro acts primarily as a technology, marketplace, listing and discovery platform connecting users with independent third parties, including:
Service providers/workers;
Professionals and technicians;
Shops and businesses;
Merchants;
Property owners;
Property agents/brokers; and
Other third-party marketplace participants.
Registration, listing, approval or verification on PublicPro does not by itself create an employer-employee, agency, partnership, franchise or joint-venture relationship between PublicPro and any listed party.
PublicPro does not automatically become a party to every service, purchase, property or other agreement entered into between users and third-party marketplace participants.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the final commercial terms are agreed between the relevant parties.
3. User Eligibility
Users must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law.
Users are responsible for:
Providing accurate and current information;
Maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials;
Using the Platform only for lawful purposes; and
Ensuring that information submitted through the Platform is not false, misleading or fraudulent.
4. Service Provider / Worker Registration
Service providers or workers may be required to submit information including:
Name
Mobile number
Email address
Address/location
Service category
Work experience
Profile photograph
Pricing or visit charges
Identity/KYC information
Business or professional information
Bank/payment information, where required
Other documents reasonably required by PublicPro
PublicPro may review, approve, reject, suspend or remove a registration or listing in accordance with applicable law, these Terms and Platform policies.
Providing false, misleading, fraudulent, forged or impersonated information is prohibited.
5. Shop / Business Registration and Listings
Shops, merchants and businesses wishing to be listed on PublicPro may be required to provide information such as:
Shop/business name
Owner or authorized person's details
Mobile number and email
Business address/location
Business category
Description of products/services
Business photographs
Working hours
Registration/KYC information, where required
Pricing or other listing information
Bank/payment information, where applicable
The shop/business is responsible for ensuring that its listing information, products, services, pricing and other representations are accurate and lawful.
PublicPro may review, modify, suspend, reject or remove listings that violate applicable law or Platform policies.
6. Property Listings
Property owners, agents, brokers or authorized representatives may be permitted to list properties on PublicPro.
Property listers are responsible for ensuring that:
They have the legal right or appropriate authorization to list the property;
Property information is accurate and not misleading;
Photographs and descriptions relate to the actual property;
Price, rent, area, location and other material information are correctly disclosed;
The property is not listed for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; and
Applicable real estate, tax, registration, RERA or other legal requirements are complied with wherever applicable.
PublicPro may request identity, ownership, authorization or other supporting documents where reasonably required.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, PublicPro does not independently guarantee the ownership, title, legal status, dimensions, approvals, encumbrances, possession status or authenticity of every property listed on the Platform.
Users interested in a property should independently verify relevant documents and information and obtain appropriate legal/professional advice before entering into a transaction.
7. Verification
PublicPro may introduce identity, KYC, address, qualification, business, ownership, authorization, experience or other verification mechanisms.
A “Verified”, “Approved” or similar indicator means only that certain information or documents may have been reviewed under the verification process applicable at that time.
Such an indicator does not constitute an unconditional guarantee regarding:
Identity beyond the scope of verification performed;
Service quality or workmanship;
Business quality;
Product quality;
Property ownership/title;
Financial capability;
Availability;
Conduct; or
Suitability for a particular transaction.
Users should exercise reasonable judgment and conduct appropriate verification before proceeding with any service or transaction.
8. Customer / User Responsibilities
Users should provide correct information regarding their requirements and location.
For service-related transactions, customers should confirm important terms directly with the service provider before commencement of work, including:
Scope of work;
Visit charges;
Labour charges;
Material/spare-part costs;
Applicable taxes;
Completion timeline; and
Warranty, where applicable.
For shops/businesses, users should verify product/service specifications, pricing, availability, warranty and other commercial terms before completing a transaction.
For property-related enquiries, users should independently verify ownership/title documents, approvals, location, area, price, possession, applicable registrations and other relevant information before making any payment or entering into an agreement.
9. Responsibilities of Marketplace Participants
Service providers, shops, businesses, property listers and other marketplace participants must:
Provide accurate information;
Maintain licences, registrations or qualifications where legally required;
Comply with applicable laws;
Clearly disclose applicable prices and charges;
Avoid misleading or deceptive claims;
Protect user/customer information;
Avoid harassment, discrimination, fraud or unlawful conduct;
Not submit forged or manipulated documents; and
Cooperate with reasonable PublicPro verification or complaint-resolution processes.
10. Pricing, Subscriptions and Payments
Prices for services, products, properties or other marketplace transactions may be determined by the respective third-party provider unless expressly stated otherwise.
Displayed prices, visit charges, property prices or other amounts may be indicative unless expressly identified as fixed.
PublicPro may offer paid plans, subscriptions, memberships, listing packages, promotional services or other paid Platform features to:
Service providers/workers;
Shops/businesses;
Property owners/agents;
Other eligible marketplace participants.
Where PublicPro enables online payments, applicable payment terms, subscription fees, listing fees, platform fees, taxes or convenience charges may be displayed before payment.
Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment gateways or payment service providers.
11. Direct Payments
Where users make payments directly to a service provider, shop, business, property owner, agent or other third party outside PublicPro's payment system, PublicPro may not have control over such transactions.
Users should obtain appropriate invoices, receipts, payment acknowledgements and agreements from the relevant party.
Users should exercise additional caution before making advance payments, particularly for property transactions or high-value purchases.
12. Cancellation and Refund
Cancellations and refunds, where applicable, will be governed by PublicPro's Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable subscription/listing conditions and any service-specific terms disclosed before booking or payment.
Third-party transactions conducted directly outside PublicPro may be subject to the respective provider's own cancellation and refund terms.
13. Reviews and Ratings
Users may be permitted to submit ratings and reviews regarding service providers, workers, shops, businesses or other eligible marketplace participants.
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences and must not contain:
False or fabricated claims;
Defamatory content;
Threatening or abusive content;
Obscene material;
Fraudulent information;
Discriminatory material; or
Otherwise unlawful content.
PublicPro may moderate, restrict or remove reviews where reasonably necessary under applicable law or Platform policies.
14. Prohibited Activities
Users and marketplace participants must not:
Create fake accounts;
Submit forged documents;
Impersonate another person or business;
Create fake service, shop or property listings;
List property without appropriate authority;
Conduct fraudulent transactions;
Misuse customer, worker, business or property-owner information;
Upload unlawful, malicious or infringing content;
Attempt unauthorized access to the Platform;
Manipulate ratings or reviews;
Use PublicPro for money laundering or other prohibited financial activities;
Promote illegal products or services; or
Use the Platform for any activity prohibited under applicable law.
15. Intellectual Property
The PublicPro name, logo, website design, software, graphics, branding and original Platform content are owned by or licensed to ALFASTAR INDIA FINANCE CONSULTANCY PRIVATE LIMITED, except third-party materials.
No person may copy, reproduce, distribute, modify or commercially exploit such material without appropriate authorization.
Users who upload photographs, descriptions or other content must have the necessary rights or permissions to use and submit such content.
16. Third-Party Services
PublicPro may integrate third-party services including:
Payment gateways;
Maps/location services;
Communication tools;
Analytics providers;
Cloud/hosting providers;
Verification/KYC providers; and
Other technology or marketplace-support services.
Use of such third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms, policies and privacy practices.
17. Service, Shop and Property Disputes
Where services or transactions involve independent third parties, responsibility for fulfilling the agreed transaction primarily rests with the relevant parties, subject to applicable law and any specific PublicPro commitment expressly provided.
For worker/service-related disputes, users should promptly report serious issues to PublicPro.
For shop/business transactions, product or service-related issues should ordinarily be raised with the relevant business, while PublicPro may provide reasonable platform-level assistance where applicable.
For property transactions, PublicPro is primarily a listing/discovery platform unless expressly stated otherwise. Users are responsible for conducting legal, financial and property due diligence before entering into a transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection or other applicable laws.
18. Account or Listing Suspension
PublicPro may suspend, restrict, reject or terminate an account or listing where reasonably necessary due to:
Fraud or suspected fraud;
False or misleading information;
Forged documentation;
Safety concerns;
Repeated complaints;
Misuse of the Platform;
Unauthorized property listings;
Violation of these Terms;
Payment or subscription misuse; or
Legal or regulatory requirements.
Where appropriate, PublicPro may request additional information or verification before restoring an account or listing.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PublicPro will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from dealings between independent marketplace participants outside PublicPro's reasonable control.
PublicPro does not guarantee that every service provider, shop, business, property listing, product, service, price or third-party representation will meet every user's expectations.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
20. Privacy
Personal information collected through PublicPro will be handled in accordance with the PublicPro Privacy Policy and applicable law.
21. Changes to Terms
PublicPro may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in:
Platform functionality;
Marketplace services;
Business practices;
Legal or regulatory requirements; or
Other operational requirements.
Updated Terms will be published on the Platform with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Platform following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and other mandatory jurisdictional requirements, disputes relating to these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
